Mixing equipment mainly used in industrial production, common in chemical production, chemical production of a lot of operation are used to stir operation. The flow pattern mixing tank has the advantages of enhancing the eddy current spreading, reducing the mixing time and reducing the power consumption.. According to the liquid stirring, the structure of the mixing tank is optimized, and the numerical simulation and stirring experiment of the stirred tank are carried out under the specific conditions.In the modeling of numerical simulation, the mixer and its nearby region are divided into moving regions, other regions are static regions, and the models are simplified.. The flow field of the stirred tank is solved by using the multiple reference system with the unstructured mesh and the multiple reference system.Aimed at baffle in stirred tank, the structural of hole position, hole diameter and opening rate were numerically simulated in specific stirred tank. Mixing coefficient was introduced to evaluation the combination property of stirrer tank from the mixing effect and power consumption. Computer test system and PIV had been developed to test the mixing power,mixing time and PIV experiment. Experiments had been taken and numerical results were well verified by the experiment results.Compared with the traditional stirred tank, the flow pattern mixing tank can decrease power consumption, decrease the mixing time and get better mixing effect.. When the porosity and pore diameter certain, baffle open hole distance agitator closer, mixing effect is better, power losses are lower; stirring power and mixing time and stirring baffle slot open hole between the close contact, when the stirring tank baffle opening rate is 8%, hole diameter is 6mm, stirring mixing effect best.The basic method of stirred tank amplification was analysed.Aimed at optimal stirred tank,it has carried on the preliminary amplification calculation,which take unit volume power as amplification factor.It has laied the foundation for the further study of tank amplification and engineering application.
