The oil products loss in Beitan oil depot not only causes huge economic loss, but also induces environment pollution and influences the gasoline qualities,In this paper, we studied the recovery technology and route of the vapor,thinking that the condensation method to recycle is the most suitable oil and gas recovery technology for the north beach depot. The simulation result of Aspen HYSYS indicates that the dehydration rate of conventional condensation vapor recovery process at atmospheric pressure is merely about15%for the limit of thermodynamic equilibrium. However, increasing the gas pressure can greatly improve the precooler dehydration rate. Thus this paper presents a pressurized condensate oil and gas recovery technology. According to the simulation result, the dehydration rate can reach75%-85%at a pressure ranging from400kPa to600kPa, and the temperature of precooler is-4℃, which will significantly reduce the crystal formation of the first condenser and extend the time of continuous work.By optimizing all levels’temperature of the condenser, the total power consumption of the recovery unit can be reduced, which will be more conductive to reduce the cooling cost. By using the HYSYS optimizer function, we can get the optimum operating temperature of all levels of condenser when adopting high condensation pressure vapor recovery process:first-level condenser is ranging from-20℃to-25℃,the second-level condenser is ranging from-45℃to-50℃,and the third-level condenser is ranging from-100℃to-120℃.According to calculating the amount of evaporation loss, this paper determined the capacity of North Beach oil depot vapor recovery unit is200Nm3/h. We finally determine the design parameters of recovery unit with large elasticity of operation according to the results of the optimization analysis and multi-factor sensitivity analysis. The technical and economic evaluation results show that the total cost of oil and gas recovery units only need6million yuan, annual running costs about2million yuan, recycle the gas about600t/a each year, and the unit payback period is only19months. So the construction of vapor recovery unit will generate great economic and environmental benefits.
