The unique geological environment in Southwest China area restrict development of Karst region,The ecological environment degradation mainly the rocky desertification phenomenon is accelerated in Southeast Yunnan. Karst rocky desertification is now China’s third major ecological problems (the former two are northwest desertification and soil erosion in Loess Plateau).Now,by the advanced 3S technology,we can conveniently obtain the distribution state of Karst rocky desertification rapidly,accurately and macro.In order to give up decision support of Karst rocky desertification comprehensive improvement.We can use the multitemporal remote sensing images for dynamic monitoring of the observation area for Karst rocky desertification to get time space dynamic evolution.This paper uses the following datas:remote sensing images, Landsat TM/ETM+ of the two phase (2000 and 2008); terrain data (DEM), GDEM ASTER data; regional lithology distribution data, obtained by Yunnan Province geological map vectorization. First, analyse previous research on the rocky desertification evaluation and classification and on this basis I established the Guangnan County karst rocky desertification classification index system; second, remote sensing monitoring of rocky desertification in Guangnan County status by using the object oriented method (image in 2008), to obtain graded distribution map of the karst rocky desertification in Guangnan county, evaluating the accuracy of the conclusion object oriented classification effect is better; finally using post classification comparison method of karst rocky desertification to get 2000 -2008 state transition matrix, using mathematical method to predict the Guangnan county various grades of rocky desertification distribution. The main achievements of this dissertation are as follow:(1) Summarized the present research situation of rocky desertification at home and abroad, summarizing the expert scholars using traditional method to carry on quantitative research on the rocky desertification region; analysis of application and results of the current object oriented technology in the land, and points out that the significance of using object oriented method of monitoring of Southeast Yunnan region of rocky desertification.(2) At this stage there is still no agreement to reach on assessment of Karst rocky desertification classification; referring to research the evaluation for karst rocky desertification and classification were selected in this thesis, the county of Guangnan rocky desertification classification evaluation index system, provides the standard for the next step of Karst Rocky Desertification Remote Sensing Monitoring classification.(3) In accordance with the development of the Karst karst rocky desertification classification evaluation index system, taking into account the Karst Rocky Desertification Remote sensing information extraction is essentially a comprehensive analysis of various information and feedback process, put forward the object-oriented method and the property scale segmentation calculation, construction of classification samples rocky desertification grade, on the basis of rocky desertification in Guangnan has been divided into county of karst rocky desertification grade distribution; finally opposite to evaluate the accuracy of object method, obtains the method of object oriented classification of rocky desertification land type effect is good.(4) Through 2000 and 2008 two remote sensing data, uses the object-oriented method to get the Guangnan County of Karst rocky desertification grades distribution in phase two; then using post classification comparison method to obtain the rocky desertification Grade 2000 2008 this time of transition matrix, and then draw the rocky desertification transfer probability matrix; use Markov prediction method, deduce the Guangnan County in 2016 and 2024 the rocky desertification grade dialect area. Through the research the Rocky Desertification in Guangnan county showed the trend of the development of the work of the poles, rocky desertification control has a long way to go.
