Gold(I) complexes with various geometry configuration and redox state, which present unique thermodynamic and kinetic characteristics have been paid much more attention in catalysis, fluorescence, protein inhibitors, antitumor activities etc. In this paper, the halogen-containing gold(I) complexes and sulfur-containing gold(I) complexes have been designed and synthesized, and the biological activities of these compounds have also been investigated. This thesis is divided into five chapters.Chapter 1, the study background and status of gold(I) complexes were summarized, especially in fluorescence, catalysis and antitumor activities.Chapter 2, halogen-containing gold(I) complexes were synthesized and characterized by NMR and IR analysis. Compound(triphenylphosphine)gold(I) chloride has been structural characterized by X-ray single-crystal determination.Chapter 3, a series of thiourea derivatives and sulfur-containing gold(I) complexes with thiourea derivatives and mercapto derivatives were synthesized and characterized by NMR and IR analysis. The reaction conditions of other sulfur-containing gold(I) complexes still needs optimization.Chapter 4, the urease inhibitory activities, the fluorescence quenching of BSA or HSA activities, and antibacterial activities of gold(I) complexes have been investigated. The research results were as follows:(1) Compound 2 inhibited the activity of urease most strongly with MIC 0.57μg/ml;(2) the fluorescence quenching interactions between serum albumin and Compound 1-4 were all static quenching;(3) Compound 1 and 2 exhibit better antibacterial activities, wherein the MIC50 of Compound 1 against E.coli and Compound 2 against Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus are less than 0.05μg/ml.Chapter 5, the thesis was summarized, and an outlook of the future work was given in this field.
