The 21 st century, with the development of social and economic,strengthening of international competitiveness,environmental problems are more prominent。In recent years, the problem of atmospheric environment is particularly prominent, the continuous emergence of fog and haze have caused a huge impact on people’s lives and property safety of travel. Weather conditions play an important role on the migration and proliferation of air pollutants. In this paper, Urumqi city group as the research object, analyzes the changes in atmospheric conditions in recent years, use Urumqi city and Shihezi City as the examples to analyzes the correlation between meteorological conditions with air quality.Finally, analysis the correlation of air quality between the Urumqi city group, provide the basis for joint prevention and control among urban agglomerations. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) pollutants: Urumqi city agglomeration in recent ten years, the primary poll utant is PM10, followed by NO2, the seasonal variation of SO2 content is obvi ous, NO2 is weak,and have the larger relationship with heating; three kinds of pollutants in Urumqi city in the annual average of more than two standard, the SO2 decreased obviously, the other four city the content of SO2 has a small upward trend; the trend of changes of PM10 content in Urumqi is not obvious, the city of Changji and Fukang City has a downward trend, Shihezi and Wuji aqu City is on the rise, Wujiaqu obvious upward trend, the content of PM10 h ave a great relationship with dust weather, so often there will be spring polluti on peak; NO2 content in January and December were the highest, the lowest i n July or so, the variation law of Urumqi and Changji city there is a "C" typ e, the relationship between the changes of NO2 content and meteorological con ditions more closely.All City NO2 have a rising trend, Changji City rising tren d more obvious in after 2008, Shihezi city and Fukang City after 2009 beganto rise significantly, Wujiaqu City did not significantly change in a relatively stable situation; Urumqi PM2.5 seasonal variation is obvious. In general, the vari ation law of pollutants are winter heavy,summer light, the content of the pollut ant is not only related to the pollutant emissions, but also have a great influen ce on the meteorological conditions.(2) Pollution Index:The air quality in recent years in Urumqi city group the number of days better of secondary in all cities is more than 250 days,The da ys in Urumqi better than secondary rose more obvious; Changji City in 2006 ~ 2008 on a downward trend, have increased in each year after 2008; the nu mber of days Shihezi more stable, almost 350 days, the air quality in urban a gglomerations is best; Fukang City air quality only better than Urumqi, better t han the secondary was maintained at about 300 days, also after 2006 are rise; Wujiaqu air quality is also good, trends showed "U" type change. And the numbe r of days of heavy pollution in cities is increasing. From the comparison of Uru mqi view AQI and API, API index of strong regularity, AQI index lower than the API, but volatility is more obvious, and the city of Urumqi AQI ranked higher and higher, showed that the overall air quality in terms of the changes across the country is optimistic; according to the results of wavelet analysis of pollution can be seen in citis is not the same period, has its own certain reg ularity.According to the results of the wavelet analysis can be seen in the city’s p ollution cycle is not the same, there are certain regularity of the cycle. Which Shi hezi city main cycle changes in air quality in the past ten years and the time peri od were 275 d and 520d; Wujiaqu City were 554 d and 282D; Fukang city were 546 d and 278d;Changji City were 541 d and 285d;(3) the correlation analysis: Urumqi precipitation in October, pressure andtemp erature in July, wind speed and humidity in April are larger and relatively goo d correlation with air quality; Shihezi City precipitation in January and April, the wind speed in July, humidity in January and have a greater correlation with better air quality. Between the cities of Urumqi city group correlation between air quality are obvious, significant correlation at 0.01 level. Urumqi and Chan gji City, the largest correlation(0.488), Shihezi and Urumqi maximum correlati on(0.388), Wujiaqu and Fukang City are the largest correlation(0.307), Fukan g and Shihezi is also the largest correlation(0.341).
