Porphyrin compounds widely found in nature and living things. The porphyrin compounds has many unique physical and chemical properties and other functional properties because of their special conjugate structure. The porphyrin compounds have great potential in organic solar cells, molecular switches, organic electroluminescent and applications such as optical storage materials has draw great attention. In this paper, we have made the full investigation of the synthesis of porphyrin and methods for modification of the porphyrin ring, take the porphyrin solubility and other factors into consideration, we designed and synthesized two series of novel porphyrin compounds and studied their UV-vis light absorption properties of cyclic voltammetry. Our work provides a theoretical and experimental reference for porphyrin compounds apply in the field of photovoltaic material. The research summarized as follows:(1) In order to improve the solubility of porphyrins, we used 3,5-di-tert-butyl-benzaldehyde and pyrrole to synthesized porphyrin. The β position of porphyrin modified by nitration, and an amino group is introduced in ortho. D-A-D type structure for the target molecule, because the D-A-D molecular structure in the molecule can be conjugated double bonds tends planar structure, which is conducive to intramolecular electron transfer, and let π electrons delocalized more efficiently, thereby improving photoelectric effector molecule.(2) The target compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, 13 C NMR, mass spectrometry and other analytical tools for the structure.(3) Their optical and the relationship between structure-performance were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and UV-Vis spectra.
