In order to better coordinate the relationship between people and land, land reclamation is large-scale development in Guizhou province, but the effect of soil contamination on soil quality often been ignored. Heavy metal pollution is becoming more and more seriously, soil heavy metal pollution has become a research hotspot issue in the agriculture, ecology, environment and soil science etc fields. So, the study of heavy metal pollution of cultivated soil in land consolidation project area o is urgent need part of land management. In order to heavy metal pollution of cultivated soil in land consolidation project area of Guizhou Province, this research by field survey, collecting soil samples and experimental analysis, The concentrations of heavy metals such as Cr, Cu, Zn, Cd, Pb, Hg, As etc of arable soil in nine typical land remediation project area were analyzed. Using single factor pollution index method, Nemerow pollution index and pollution load index method and potential ecological risk index method, with the secondary limit values of national soil environmental quality standards and soil heavy metal background values of Guizhou Province as the reference standard, Assessment on the heavy metal contamination and ecological risk of cultivated soils in the project area, comprehensive evaluation results show that:The heavy metals accumulation in varying degrees in 9 tested project areas, Cd is the main exceeding elements, Cr, The heavy metals Cu, Zn, Hg, As exceeded in the minority of the project area. Seven kinds of heavy metals accumulation in different project area is different, which Cr is relatively serious, As accumulation is lighter. 9 farmland soil environmental quality of Dafang county project area is the best among the 9 project areas, the farmland soil environment quality is poorer in the and Huangping County and Xingyi County project areas. Multivariate statistical analysis results show that the same kind of heavy metals in the project area, there was some difference in the different project areas, the regional difference is larger between different heavy metal elements, the spatial distribution difference is larger in the project areas, the significant correlation elements has a certain similarity on the spatial distribution in the same project area.Nemerow evaluation results show that the total pollution level of 9 project areas in the light pollution, where pollution of as is small. When evaluating base on the secondary limit values of national standards, the soil quality of the project area is good as a whole, mainly in the Cd pollution; when background values of soil heavy metals in Guizhou Province as the evaluation standard, the overall situation pollution is more serious, the pollution elements Cr, Cu, Zn, Pb, Hg are existing compound pollution in each project area, the pollution level is more serious. Through analysis found that Cd majority part from soil parent material in farmland soil of tested projects areas, which from the exogenous input is less, if the element is defined as pollution elements in the project area, should be determined by further studies with a concentration in the plant.Potential ecological risk assessment results show that Cd and Hg’s risk index is higher in farmland soil of the land consolidation project areas, which need attention as they are potential ecological pollution elements; the cultivated soil of the Huangping country land consolidation project area in the medium ecological risk, the other eight project areas all in minor ecological risk. Advice regard Cd and Hg as the control objects in land management and utilization, Huang ping project area as a key pollution control district. The certain reference basis could been provided for the sustainable development of agriculture, the utilization, development and protection of cultivated land resources and the reasonable planning of the land reclamation project area in Guizhou province.
