The Chromium pollution is difficult to be recoveried for the environment,so how to reasonable and effective deal with wastewater containing Cr(VI) has been one of the hot issues which many scholars research. Through chemical methods shaddock peel could be made to our kinds of pomelo peel adsorbent modified called PC, PCNC,PCONC, PCL. Then the influence factors in the process of experiment and the optimum adsorption conditions can be studied. It is not only provides a new thought for treatment of wastewater containing Cr(VI), but also realized the effective utilization of the pomelo peel which was waste resources. The main research results are as follows:① The adsorbent dosage respectively were 1.0g, 2.0g, 2.0g and 1.0g, adsorption time, respectively were 420 min, 420 min, 360 min, 360 min, the speed value was 180r/min, initial p H value was 1.0, initial concentration of Cr(VI) was 20 mg/L, the removal rate of Cr(VI) for four kinds of adsorbent were about 99%. It can be studied that the regeneration adsorption ability of PC, PCNC, PCONC and PCL, were 90%,67%, 68%, 93% through the adsorbent- regeneration performance.② It can be sutdied that the adsorption isotherm of adsorbent PC, PCNC, PCONC,and PCL can be consistent with the Freundlich adsorption isothermal model through the study of adsorption isotherm. The maximum adsorption capacity of Cr(VI) were as follows: 2.88 mg, 1.76 mg/g,1.83 mg/g/g and 2.77 mg/g.③ It can be sutdied that the adsorption isotherm of adsorbent PC, PCNC, PCONC,and PCL can be consistent with the quasi secondary dynamics model through dynamics research. It can explain the adsorption of Cr(VI) were mainly the chemical adsorption.④ Through thermodynamics study,it can be found that the adsorption process of Cr(VI) for four kinds of adsorbent can occur spontaneously.⑤ Through the orthogonal experiments, it can be found that the initial p H is the key factors affecting the adsorption. The optimum adsorption conditions of adsorbent PC and PCNC were the initial p H of 1.0, the best temperature of 45℃and the adsorption time of 180 min. The optimum adsorption conditions of adsorbent PCONC and PCLwere the initial p H of 1.0, the temperature of 35 ℃and the adsorption time of 180 min.
