The drilling fluid is called"drilling flood" in the Petroleum engineering drilling construction. It is essential for normal operation of drilling process.Drilling fluid blender is one of the most important segment in the oil filed drilling system.It makes the composition of drilling fluid uniform suspension,It maintains performance of drilling fluid stable and reliable.The drilling fluid doesn’t appear deposition or agglomerate at the bottom of the container, In the process of transport by ship from the land mixing station to the offshore drilling platform.In order to make the drilling fluid can smoothly discharge from the discharging mouht at the bottom of the mixing container. This paper researches the blade shape and the critical speed and the minimum power about drilling liquid stirrer by the combination of experiment and simulation analysis of Fluent.Firstly, According to 1/10 of the actual drilling fluid mixing tank size to make the square test container., and building the experiment platform.and stirring blade size is determined according to the size of container.And taking water as mixing medium, The analysis and comparison are made for the three blades,Finding the blade form whit the good stirring effect and low shaft power. To do the experiment about torsional direction of determined blade,To find the torsional direction of blade whit the good stirring effect and low shaft power.Secondly,Making your own mud that compared with the real drilling fluid’s composition is similar., Then the experiment of small model was completed. Then studying the deflection angle and torsion angle of blade in the installation,Then finding the best mixing effect of blade which it consumes lower power. And using the Fluent simulation software to create and physical parameters of the same materials in the experiments, Observing the internal flow field in mud mixing,and analyzing and contrasting the experimental results by numerical simulation.Finally,It made the corresponding numerical simulation for stirring vessel of square and circular in practical application by the sorftware of FLUENT, It shows that the distribution of the flow field with a blade in two kinds of shapes.Obtaining the critical speed of the large model according to the critical speed of the small model,and Numerical simulation analysis is carried out. Contrasting simulation power and experiment of power about small model, The simulation power and experiment power are consistent.Geting the stirring power of the large model by simulation analysis.This paper carried out some research on the improved design of drilling liquid stirrer.And it provides certain ideas for the future design of drilling fluid blender.
