Inner Mongolia has considerable reserves of lignite, which is of high reactivity and high H/C proportion..While the disadvantage is lignite always have high water content, high O/C proportion, low calorific value, easy to spontaneous combustion, easily weathered and easily cracked. In order to improve the efficiency of coal utilization, step utilization of coal is a good way, and prolysis is the first step. But by traditionary pyrolysis or catalytic pyrolysis, it can not effectively generate more tar, which is of high added-value..Our research group proposed an original creation catalyst add way and it can promote the catalytic depolymerization of coal, which can promote the yield of tar. Basde on that, we studied the product distribution and characteristics of Inner Mongolia lignite catalytic depolymerization. The effects of different based catalyst and zinc base different catalyst to the product distribution characteristic of coal catalytic depolymerization were investigated.Firstly, we studied the effect of different base catalysts and zinc base different catalysts on the yield of the pyrolysis product distribution. The results show that:compared to coal pyrolysis, the catalytic depolymerization of coal can significantly affected the product distribution, which can effectively increase the decomposition rate of the solid phase, improve the yield rate of liquid and change the gas phase yield rate in a certain extent.Secondly, the effect of different base catalysts and zinc base different catalysts on the pyrolysis products were evaluated. The following charactersitics were sudied:the yield of gas, the release law, and the calorific value of gas; the water-oil ratio of tar, the fraction of light/heavy tar, the precise composition of the light tar; the element of chars, the air absorbent, the surface area and pore structure and the functional groups. The results show that:coal catalytic depolymerization has a certain advantages compared to coal pyrolysis. By the original creation of catalyst added way can achieve catalytic depolymerization of coal and can change the distribution of product.Finally, the effect of different base catalysts and zinc base different catalysts on the distribution of C, H element were studied. The results show that: the catalyst promoted the C, H element released from coal, promote the depolymerization of coal and influenced the C, H element distribution on gas and liquid phase in a certain extent. The calculation of the absolute amount of C, H element in each phase can obtain the balance law of C, H element. Thus it also can attest to the accuracy and correctness of the results in a certain degree. At the same time, it can reveal that the effect of catalyst to the catalytic depolymerization of coal at element level.
