This article aims to use the quantitative remote sensing technique to assess the wuliangsuhai lakeside temporal dynamic characteristics of the nitrogen and phosphorus of reed community, revealing the wetland lake eutrophication and trends. In this paper, based on the growth cycle of the reed community by the field biomass samples of the site-directed, using TM Images to extract the Vegetation Index at the same period and to establish the regression model between the two, at the final, screening the best model which is to estimate the reed aboveground biomass on the study area. Using this model to inverse the reed community biomass distribution throughout the region, and then come to the wetland lake nitrogen, phosphorus temporal and spatial variation characteristics, and to evaluate the eutrophication processes and rates on the wuliangsuhai regional. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) the NDVI cubic polynomial regression model was the optimal model of the wuliangsuhai reed community biomass estimation. (2) Through the spatial statistical analysis to get the reed community biomass temporal and spatial distribution of the region, in the study area, it can obtain the wuliangsuhai reed community biomass in 2013 and 2014, the inversion between June and October are first increased and then decreased, and the high biomass and low biomass distribution were less. (3) On the basis of the measured reed nitrogen and phosphorus content data, combined with its biomass to get the reed nitrogen and phosphorus content of the spatial and temporal distribution in the study area, the reed nitrogen and phosphorus contents in the study area was first increased and then decreased through the distribution, and generally peaked in July of the nitrogen and phosphorus content. In the analysis of total nitrogen and phosphorus, we can know that it can remove 5099120kg nitrogen content and 520000kg phosphorus content in the ice period by mowing, greatly weakened and eased the extent and rate of eutrophication.
