Corrosion And Prevention Of Oil Casing In Wuqi

The corrosion of the oil casing has been a widespread problem in the process of oil field exploitation. From the point of view of the actual situation of Wuqi Oilfield at present, there are many factors which result in the oilfield oil casing loss, among them oil casing corrosion is the main reason. There have been more than a thousand damaged wells caused by tubing and casing corrosion problems in Wuqi Oilfield, which seriously affect the normal production and operation of the oilfield. Based on this background, in this thesis we summarized and analyzed the current research situation and related literatures on the domestic and foreign pipeline corrosion. Based on oil casing corrosion statistics and data analysis in Wuqi Oilfield, the specific circumstances of Wuqi Oilfield casing corrosion was clearly presented. For the case of Wuqi Oilfield, oil casing corrosion mechanism is analyzed from two directions of external corrosion and microbial corrosion, and the analysis further clarified the tubing and casing corrosion mechanism and prevention measures of the feasibility of the idea measures were carried out. In this thesis, through the combination of reference analysis and experimental methods, according to particularity of Wuqi oilfield corrosion of tubing and casing, the mechanism on the corrosion of the oil casing were summarized. Two new casing external corrosion prevention technologies were carried out:the cold tangled epoxy with zinc anode and cluster well group cathodic protection, by which the prevention and control of Wuqi Oilfield casing corrosion were completed. Finally the application effect of casing anticorrosion measures on Wuqi Oilfield were analyzed.by proposing suggestions and specific measures to prevent corrosion evaluation, further implementation of Wuqi oil casing corrosion prevention and control work, to promote the development of Wuqi oilfield technology, improve the economic benefits of Wuqi oil field. The study of this thesis revealed that epoxy cold wrap with a zinc anode and cluster well group of cathodic protection two casing external corrosion prevention technology were successfully applied in Wuqi Oilfield, oil casing corrosion condition have been improved significantly. A completed series of anti-corrosion was formed and can meet the needs of different types of oil wells in the anti-corrosion requirements in Wuqi Oilfield. The technique has been widely applied in oil fields and achieved certain effect, and the economic benefit is remarkable. It ensures the important development of Wuqi Oilfield technically.
