Offshore oil exploration and production has developed for 40 years, the discovery of mid-large oil and gas fields is increasingly difficult. more and more middle-small structural lithologic reservoir have been found and developed. The structural lithologic reservoir of W oilfield North Block is located in Weixinan Sag of Beibu Gulf Basin in South China Sea.the fault distribution is extensive, east and west wings are lithologic pinchout in the field structure. The proved oil-bearing area is 6.56km2 and geological reserves is 1683.63×104m3. The main reservoir has been divided five oil formation,is Member 1 in Liushagang Formation of Paleogene.Lack of natural energy in reservoir, this paper takes the multidisciplinary of reservoir sedimentology and oilfield development geology and petroleum engineering as a guide, appling the data of seismic-log interpretation and oil production test and coring analysis to research geological structure characteristics, reservoir sedimentary facies and characteristic,in order to reservoir classification and correlation and comfirming reservoir type and geological reserves for reasonable water injection development.Using the method of reservoir engineering, this paper studies the optimal water injection development technology policy for the offshore structural lithologic reservoir. Combined with reservoir geological modeling and numerical simulation research, the optimized ratio of the sensitivity parameters is analyzed, and a reasonable water injection development technology and development scheme is proposed for W oilfield North block in South China Sea,it has important reference meanings for the following development of similar offshore oilfields.
