Reatment Of Paint Mist From Roller Spray-paint

The roller spray-paint was used for painting small wooden toys, an important process in the development of the toy industry. The roller spray-paint industry discharged water-based paint washing wastewater and paint mist which are harmful to the environment. To provide feasible treatment project for the waste water and exhaust gas of roller spray-paint process, this paper studied collecting system and processing system for exhaust gas, and the flocculation treatment for water-based paint washing wastewater.1) According to the unorganized emission of paint mist, we designed a series of collection system. Both the collection cover for the existing roller and the new environmental roller had achieved nearly 100% collection efficiency of the paint mist.2) According to the characteristics of paint mist, the spray tower and spray room were designed for treating the exhaust gas. The processing efficiency of the VOCs and dust in the water-based paint mist, using the Spray room and cyclone separator, is over 40% and 90%. The processing efficiency of the VOCs in the lacquer paint mist, using the paint mist catching device, gas-liquid separator, low-temperature plasma and spray tower, is 90.39%;3. The inorganic flocculent can treat water-based paint washing wastewater effectively, with adsorption charge neutralization and compression of double charged. With appropriate dosage, different flocculants can remove 90% of CODCr and control the residual turbidity under 20. Under different agitation strategy, the CODCr removal rate was above 80% with 1.5 minutes mixing time for the sewage.
