It is well known that Liaodong Bay is one of the three sub bay of bohai sea, the rise of liaoning coastal rapidly economic development nearly a decade caused the its environmental serious problems with people increasingly expand, resource development.Especially coastal petrochemical industry developed, for discharging sewage, industrial part of the regional water pollution is serious, especially there are a lot of reports about heavy metal pollution in this gulf. It had been reported that the processing factory sewage into the sea had already received good results. But what about sediment organic pollution environment status? No special studies on organic compound pollution. This thesis is based on the survey data of 2013-2014, which sum up the bay bottom sediment distribution characteristics of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon content. Through analyzing the characteristics of the nearshore emissions in China, according to the 16 kinds of priority monitoring of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) U.S. environmental protection agency (USEPA) proposed by as compound filter factor analysis, to get its 58 in northern liaodong bay area of the elements of the Marine sediment samples levels and characteristics of pollution distribution. And use the ratio method analyzed the pollution source of the material. To this end, the author through the analysis of the experiment, the following four contents are been discussed in this paper.(1)Study and analyze the 16 kinds of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the58 surface sediment samples, the distribution characteristic present that:the range of 11.1~235 ng g-1, the average level is 81.2 ng g-1.The distribution regular presents clearly the highest content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is in the west bottom, then the central content, and the last is the east sediments, The trend is from the highlights from west to east, the sea bottom sediment pollution is gradually reduce.(2)Through the identification of the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons coponents in surface sediment of Liaodong Bay, The coponents category of PAHs present:four-ring> three-ring> five-ring>two-ring> six-ring, and the correspondent total percentage amount of PAHs content respectively:38.09%,27.87%,20.62%,9.41%,4%.This explains PAHs structure changes significantly, the sediments have suffered from a variety of types of aromatic hydrocarbons pollution, and due to contribution rate was different, degrees of pollution are also different.(3)From the bay sediments content analysis, Phenatherene (Phe) accounted for the largest in the three regions, are far greater than the other three kinds of main ingredients: naphthalene (Nap), fluoranthene (Flu), pyrene (Pyr). Through ratio method of analysing the source of PAHs, the northern Liaodong Bay sediment of PAHs in sediment is mainly derived from oil source and burning.(4)The bay 58 sediment sample analysis showed that, the content of naphthalene value is higher than low risk assessment value16 ng. g-1, and lower than the high risk assessment value 2100 ng. g-1.With illustrating risk assessment in these sampling point of PAHs in liaodong bay, naphthalene caused with a certain risk effects to environment organisms. The rest of the content of PAHs are lower than the minimum risk evaluation value,so its has very low levels risk harm to the Marine biologicalTo sum up, through systematic discusses the organic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) distribution and pollution research, once its entered the water body environment, its would generate adsorption, sedimentation and being transferred to the seabed sediments, and posed a threat to the seabed sediment environment. But also easily being accumulated in marine living body. Study occurrence morphological species distribution and pollution characteristics of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in mirine sediment would provide a scientific basis for pollution control and management for the Marine administrative department.
