China is one of the countries which have richest coal bed methane resources all of the word and coal bed methane exploitation have great potential productivity in china. It has been found that Hydraulic fracturing is one of the effective stimulation measures to improve the development of coalbed methane (CBM) economic.However,because of CBM reservoir, which has lower Young’s modulus,higher Poisson’s ratio,lower formation temperature, special double pore structure and richard developmental characteristics cut and greater anisotropy and uneven qualitative, fracturing fluid may cause serious damage on CBM reservoir in the fracturing transformation process.In this paper, in order to solve the bottlenecks technology of coalbed methane well fracturing, we first get characteristics of the potential damage types and mechanism of CBM reservoir by foreign fluid, through the data collection,the literature investigation,experimental research on CBM reservoir.Then,we developed and reached a clean fracturing fluid system with surfactant using in CBM reservoir, according to the degree damage on CBM for different types surfactants,and the potential damage types and mechanism of CBM reservoir by foreign fluid,clean fracturing fluid development mechanism gelling. SF-A is the gelling agent of clean fracturing fluid and SF-B is the additives, but development and research an innovative breaker of this fluid named SF-C.This breaker using regulate agent named KSPJ123 can control the clean fracturing fluid gel breaking time nicely, and have overcomed the shortage of a clean fracturing fluid which can not breaked or the gel breaking time cannot controled,when using in the gas or coalbed methane well. At last, we evaluate the performance of this fracturing fluid, and found that this system not only has the shear stability, but encapsulation of performance is strong.And has compatibility of formation water good sex, gel breaking liquid surface tension low, no residue, etc. Moreover, it has low damage and low cost for CBM reservoir,and elastic modulus should be the main index for measuring the encapsulation of sand properties of clean fracturing fluid.
