Introduction To A Landfill On Groundwater Pollution And Prevention

With the rapid development of economic, more and more garbage generated by the city. And most garbage was disposed in a landfill. Landfill has many advantages of small investment, easy operation and mature technology. However, due to the wide variety of sources garbage, complex composition, the nature of instability, it will produce large amounts of organic or inorganic high concentrations of leachate after compaction occurs itself, biology, physics, chemistry under conditions of heavy rainfall. If not handled properly, it can occur leakage and seriously pollute the ecological environment and groundwater system. And then it would endanger human’s health. Therefore, it is imperative to prevente and control landfill leachate groundwater pollution.With the development and construction of Dingbian, and its landfill only had a leachate regulation pool, leachate treatment facilities were not set up. Leachate drainage could not meet emissions requirements, and a large number of leachate spill to spread around the garbage dump, and made serious influence on the surrounding environment. In this regard, this paper dealed with difficult issues of research and technology designed for Dingbian landfill leachate. To meet the "landfill pollution control standards" GB16889-2008, the CODcr concentration should be less than 100 mg / L, ammonia nitrogen content should be less than 25 mg / L. Landfill uses pretreatment-two DTRO treatment process, and the concentrate produced uses recharge way process, and deodorization technology for treatment uses plasma method.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Through investigating the project background, I understanded the natural conditions and present situation processing of the landfill. And then it could provide evidence for the selection of landfill process.(2)By analyzing the water quality of the landfill out of the water, and forecasting the generation of leachate and leachate contaminants,the process and landfill leachate treatment of Dingbian were be selected and determined;(3) The process of wastewater treatment process has carried on the detailed design.
