As the grades of ambient air quality is attracting more attention, this article is based on the effective monitoring data of primary air pollutant is comprised of SO2, NO2, CO, O3, PM10 and PM2.5 of 11 counties including 22 air monitoring places in Yongzhou. The parper analyzes the topic in three areas, that is, the pattern for temporal distribution, the pattern for spatial distribution and the analysis of its factor influence. The article analyses conclusion to be as follows:Firstly, Winter is the typical pollution season of the mass concentration of air pollutant in main urban and county region in Yongzhou, and there is no certain law on more seasonal patterns. The ambient air quality in county region is better for that in main urban region. The diurnal characteristics on typical dates of several grades of air quality have consistency. The diurnal characteristics for the mass concentration of air pollutant affected by human activities, industrial production, car exhaust, temperature and illumination intensity, atmospheric inversion, etc.Secondly, the spatial distribution pattern of the mass concentration of various air pollutants in Yongzhou is lower in the south and higher in the north and there is no certain law on latitudinal direction. It showed different features depend on the different regional and air pollutant that may be closely related to local population density, vegetation coverage, meteorological condition, development of society and economy and industrial structure, etc.Thirdly, the combination of the impacting natural factors on ambient air quality for that average temperature, precipitation, duration of sunshine and forest acreage have a significant negative correlation with the AQI and API, while average air pressure positively correlated with it. After controlling for other variables, single average temperature, precipitation, average air pressure and duration of sunshine shows their less significant effect on the AQI and API, while forest acreage have a significant correlation with it. Both the combination of the impacting artificial factors and the influence of single factor, the impacting artificial factors have a significant positively correlation with the AQI and API, but for energy consumption per 10,000 yuan of GDP.
