Nickel plating has been widely used in electroplating industry because of its excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and can be welded. In recent years, with the electroplating industry to the electronics, iron and steel industry transfer and expansion, which are greatly promoted the demand for nickel and production. At the same time, the problem of environmental pollution of nickel containing wastewater can not be ignored.Treatment methods of electroplating wastewater containing nickel include chemical, physical, chemical, biological, etc., and the existing treatment process is more than the standard discharge. With the high attention to the heavy metal pollution in China, the emission standards are becoming more and more strict, and the zero discharge of wastewater containing nickel is also a trend. In the face of the new situation, the lagging of the process of the electroplating wastewater containing nickel, the technological transformation is imminent.In this paper, the design method of the treatment and reuse of nickel containing wastewater is presented in this paper. The treatment process of chemical precipitation, chemical coagulation, RO- ion exchange is proposed. And relying on a printed circuit board enterprise wastewater treatment project in Jiangxi, the enterprise 100m~3/d containing nickel wastewater treatment and reuse process engineering design. To achieve zero discharge of nickel containing wastewater, and to evaluate the feasibility of comprehensive evaluation of the treatment process of wastewater containing nickel from technical and economic point of view.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1) The combined treatment process of 100m~3/d plating wastewater containing nickel hydroxide precipitation, sulfide precipitation, coagulation and precipitation. Among them, the regulation pool is regulated by differential flow. The size of W * L * H * = 5000 * 2500 * 2500 mm, the total capacity of M3 Ve=25, the effective volume of M3 V=32, and the addition of aeration or stirring system, for the full oxygen stirring, the organic compounds in wastewater degradation. The nickel hydroxide precipitation reaction tank size: L * W * H = 2000 x 1000 x 1500 mm total volume of V=3 m~3, the effective volume of Ve=2 m~3.Nickel sulfide precipitation reaction groove size: W x H x L = 1000 x 1500 x 2500 mm, the total volume of M3 V=4, the effective volume of M3 Ve=2.5. The coagulation reaction tank with swirl coagulation bath, size: 1200 x 1800 mm,The total volume of V=2.0 m~3, the effective volume of Ve=1.5 m~3, the inlet diameter of the nozzle outlet diameter d=30mm, D0=70mm. Precipitation pool choose vertical flow sedimentation tank, structure central tube effective area f1=0.05m2, center tube diameter: d0=0.22 m. The diameter of the bell mouth: d2=0.3m, reflector diameter: d2=0.4m, center tube height: h2=1.5m, central tube trumpet to reflecting plate between the slot height: h3= 0.15 m, sedimentation tanks with a total area of, A=6m sedimentation tank length: D=3m, the sludge bucket height: h5=2.3m, sedimentation tanks with a total height: H=4.6m.(2) The advanced treatment process of the integrated pre treatment and reverse osmosis + ion exchange for the electroplating of nickel containing waste water can meet the requirements of the process water quality. It can also produce a certain economic benefit by recovering nickel.(3) The effective removal of the ionic state of the waste water, nickel, nickel complex and colloidal material can greatly reduce the burden on the treatment of the wastewater.After treatment and reuse of nickel containing wastewater, the operation cost was 232.5 yuan /d(2.32 yuan /t water), the electric charge was 106.4 yuan /d(1.06 yuan /t water), the labor cost was 50 yuan /d(0.50 yuan /t water), and the comprehensive operation cost was 3.89 yuan /t wastewater.(4) The treatment and reuse technology of the electroplating wastewater containing nickel can provide reference and reference for the technical transformation of the same kind of wastewater treatment.
