Establishment Of Analytical Methods For Organic Pollutants From Costal Sediments In Geological Survey

Costal zone is the combination and junction of continent and sea, which plays an important role in coatal areas economic development for several environmental functions such as: reclamation, flood control, pollution reduction, breeding, feeding, shipping, tourism and prevention of shoreline erosion. Meanwhile, costal zone as the correlation region with different characteristics of marine and terrestrial ecosystem is vulnerable to the influence and destruction of anthropogenic activities.The ecologica environmental problem of coastal zone has gained comprehensive attention.In this paper, sampling method of sediment from the coastal zone for volatile organic compounds(VOCs), organic chlorine pesticides(OCPs), polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBs) and Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) was studied and estabished. Transportation and preservation conditions, effective analysis period of volatile organic compounds and semi-volatile organic compounds were optimized. Accurate analysis method and systematic quality control method for the detection of VOCs, OCPs, PCBs and PAHs in coastal sediments were also established.The conclusion of this paper which was the basis study for standard analytical methods of organic pollutants in costal sediments,would play greater role in land resource survey and bring more significant economic social and environmental benefits.
