As the basic industry, petrochemical is very important in national economy. Because of the discharge of organic, inflammable goods and pollutant in petrochemical process, petrochemical industry is the major source of environmental pollution all the time. With the development of national economy, more and more people pay close attention to the environmental protection, and someone even proposes the goal of petrochemical production zero emissions. As most of the waste water is organic or the mixture of inorganic and organic in petrochemical production, physical method and biological method cannot completely decompose it. Adopting burning method to deal with the waste water, the toxic organic break down into nontoxic gas and water, and the removal rate is 99.99%. In order to achieve the goal of energy saving and environmental protection, we could establish the waste heat recovery for power generation and the production of steam.Firstly, the process of the combustible waste water incinerator was introduced, including pretreatment, high temperature burning, waste heat recovery and flue gas treatment. The principle and characteristics of combustible waste water incinerator was simply introduced.Secondly, the control of combustible waste water incinerator was related and analyzed. The design of high temperature burning control was mainly elaborated, including the control of burner ignition, the control of thermal oxidation convection and the control of burning. The control of pretreatment, waste heat recovery and flue gas treatment was simply introduced. The control of burner ignition included three parts, they were the flow control of ignition air, the feed control of ignition waste water and the pressure control of ignition air. The control of thermal oxidation convection included two parts, they were the flow control of air and the temperature control of thermal oxidation convection. The control of burning included two parts, they were the control of oxygen content and the temperature control of burning. The control of the fuel ratio was also expounded.Lastly, the control system design of combustible waste water incinerator was mainly introduced, including the design of the local instrument, the selection and configure of PLC I/O card and the communication between DCS and PLC. First of all, the selection principle of the temperature instrument, flow instrument, analysis instrument and pressure instrument was introduced. And the instrument that participated in the process of combustible waste water incinerator was selected according to the selection principle. The principle of dual redundancy was also mainly introduced. Then according to the wiring principle of the PLC I/O card, the wiring design of instrument that participated in the process of combustible waste water incinerator was elaborated. The configure steps of the PLC I/O card was simply introduced. Afterwards, the configure steps of the communication between DCS and PLC was expounded. Finally, according to the conclusions of simulation prove that the control of combustible waste water incinerator is entirely feasible.
