The key to success or failure of south-to-north water diversion east line project is control pollution. The key point of control pollution located is Shandong. The most important thing is Nansihu lake basin. Nansihu located at southwest part of Shandong province, lake is about 125km narrow long from south to north,5-25km from east to west. Lake area is 1266 square meter which is the biggest fresh water lake in north of china, as well as the sixth biggest fresh water lake and the important water channel, water storage lake for south-to-north water diversion east line project. East line water diversion layout and Nansihu lake’s location determines Nansihu lake basin water pollution control becomes the key of east line project pollution control. Accurate estimation of Nansihu lake basin’s entering lake pollutant flux has important significance for total pollutant control and water quality protection. The accurate evaluation of the pollution load has become the bottleneck of the Nansihu lake water environmental management and total pollutant control. Therefore it is urgent to establish covering point source and non point source of Nansihu lake entering lake main pollutant flux estimation evaluation method, to provide technical support for the work of watershed pollution.Based on this text’s fully collection of hydrology, meteorology, water conservancy project, land use, water quality monitoring and pollution source census data etc., take Xuecheng Xiaosha river basin as the Nansihu lake basin into the lake river demonstration basin, to carry out the land point source (centralized sewage treatment facility, without treating life source, industrial point source and concentration of live stock and poultry breeding) investigation and set up the corresponding relationship of a point source with river; Through the formation of hydrology, meteorology, topography, land use, soil, population, water quality monitoring and point source etc., layer elements, is built to meet the needs of HSPF simulation of basic geographic database; By generating time series (hydrological, meteorological, water quality monitoring and point source load), data input of fertilization, river hydraulic function table’s establishment (river, dam and reservoir), initial parameter estimation and sensitivity analysis step, established Xuecheng Xiaosha river basin HSPF model; Make the use of HSPF model to do simulation and evaluation for Nansihu lake into lake river Xuecheng Xiaosha river basin Pengkou sluice cross section main contaminants (COD, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus), give the main pollutant load for given cross section and analyze the constitute and distribution of load within the year. The main conclusions are as follow:(1) Use BASINS core model HSPF as a tool, considering point sources (industrial point source, centralized sewage treatment facility, non-treated life source and livestock and poultry breeding point source) and non point source, use Xuecheng Xiaosha River basin as demonstrates to establish the Nansihu Lake main pollutant flux evaluation method under the condition of lack of synchronous observation data.(2) In the basis of considering the influence factors of reservoir and dam important water quality, simulated Nansihu Lake into the lake river Xuecheng Xiaosha River’s main pollutants concentration and flux. The main pollutant flux characteristics of Xuecheng Xiaosha River basin exit Pengkou Dam are:1.in 2007, COD ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) and total phosphorus (TP) were not treated main source of life. Total nitrogen (TN) were centralized sewage treatment facility; 2. in 2008-2010, COD, total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP) fluxes were dominated by centralized sewage treatment facilities; ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) flux was non point source. The application of HSPF in Xuecheng Xiaosha River of major pollutant flux evaluation results show that:in the lack of simultaneous observation data, HSPF can achieve good result in dam controlled river main pollutant concentrations and flux’s study. It can realize the monitor of fiver basin different cross section main pollutant load flux composition analysis. It can also point source and non-point source flux of lake inflow and provide basis of total pollutant allocation and load reduction. It also provides the reference basis for flux of major pollutants in Nansihu Lake Basin’s other rivers into the lake and evaluation for the total control from technology.(3) Using MATLAB as tool, established statistical method of the output file of the HSPF model, which can realize the fast statistics of output data of the model and save manpower and time greatly compared to normal statistical method.
