| For the high salt high concentration organic industrial wastewater treatment, we screened and identified the salt-tolerant photosynthetic bacteria from the high salt sample, then characterized these bacteria and carried out practical engineering application. We identified a total of three photosynthetic bacteria. The optimal growth conditions of these strains were as follows:the optimum temperature was about 30~35℃, the pH value was 7.5~9, and the light intensity was 3000~4000 Lx, inoculation amount in more than 20%.We carried out a pilot study towards the high salt wastewater treatment. The results showed that the COD removal effect was significantly, and the design requirements were achieved by the addition of these salt-tolerant photosynthetic bacteria.Combined with the wastewater treatment project of a dicamba pharmaceutical company, we studied the feasibility of salt tolerance of photosynthetic bacteria used for treatment of organic wastewater with high salinity. The wastewater treatment capacity of this project was about 600 t/d, with the salinity of about 3%~5%, and the influent COD about 6000 mg/L. Wastewater treatment process was sequenced as follows: regulating tank→multi-medium filter→resin absorber→neutralization and sedimentation tank→hydrolysis tank→contact oxidation tank→secondary sedimentation tank→emissions. After adjustment and operation of three months, the overall project COD removal rate was more than 90%, and the salt-tolerance strain processing unit COD removal efficiency up to 70%. These screened tolerant photosynthetic strains played an important role of bioaugmentation, so strengthen high-salt organic industrial wastewater treatment by halophile was feasibility. |
