3# oil refinery hydrogen production device of a petrochemical enterprise which used the methane-hydrogen as main raw materials and LPG as alternate raw material (mainly for methane hydrogen disruptions state), water gas steam reforming the legal system, pressure swing adsorption (PSA) purification of the hydrogen pressure hydrogenation apparatus provides supporting devices. In the process of checking pipeline operation in December 2012, heat exchanger outlet line of 3# oil refinery hydrogen production device was found leakage phenomenon in weld short section at the size of the head near the valve, according to the export pipeline crack failure happens of the heat exchanger outlet line of 3# oil refinery hydrogen production device, this paper focuses on the depth research of the export pipeline failure mechanism and failure cause, and put forward the corresponding preventive measures, The specific research results are as follows:1.Through the export pipeline of parent metal and weld material chemical composition analysis and mechanical performance analysis, illustrate that metal smelting and manufacturing quality performance of heat exchanger export pipeline using 0Cr08Ni10Ti as the parent metal materials meets the requirements.2. Analysis of the pipeline material micro structure and pipe crack fracture of macroscopic and microscopic morphology, analyze the failure mechanism and the reasons of the heat exchanger outlet line, pipeline crack failure mechanism should be caused by the fatigue crack propagation, the crack initiation is not influenced by the medium of the pipeline. The reasons of the failure are that there exist excessive fluctuating stress in the opening and parking of the hydrogen production device, causing mechanical vibration of pipeline. Besides, pipe size pipe section location layout is unreasonable, causing internal pipeline medium flow is unstable, so that the pipeline is affected by alternating load and produce local mechanical vibrations, leading to the line size of the pipe joint weld fusion zone section fatigue crack propagation.3. Through to the crack failure mechanism analysis and research of E5103 export pipeline, put forward the constructive significance of 6 preventive measures.
