Eddy current testing technology is one of the internationally recognized five conventional nondestructive testing techniques, the eddy current testing technology is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, a nondestructive testing method is applied to the conductive material. When a detection coil with an alternating current is close to the conductor, the alternating magnetic field established by the coil is induced by the electromagnetic induction of the conductor, and the eddy current is induced in the conductor. When some factors in the conductor change, such as electrical conductivity, magnetic permeability, shape, scale deposit, etc., or the occurrence of defects, will affect the intensity and distribution of the vortex. The change of eddy current caused the change of the sensing coil induced voltage. By measuring the voltage change of the coil, we can judge the change of the performance of the conductor, and realize the detection and measurement of the two main functions. Eddy current testing technology is widely used in aviation, aerospace, machinery, automotive, nuclear power, petrochemical and boiler pressure vessel and other industrial sectors.In this paper, the author summarizes the functional requirements of the high speed on-line eddy current detector, the VXWORKS real-time operating system and the PC104 single board computer, and discusses the design and analysis of the high precision sensor system, stable and reliable data transmission system, and the system. The system has been designed and analyzed.This paper first introduces the basic principles and characteristics of eddy current testing, and then discusses the overall requirements and design scheme of high-speed on-line detection system, and then focuses on the design and production of the sensor, the design of the main parts of the hardware module, the design of the instrument detection software.
