Flexible operation, wide application and high efficiency are characteristics of the mixing equipment. It is widely used in many fields, such as oil, biology, fermentation, catalysis, food, metallurgy, mineral and water treatment. With the increasingly poor mineral resources, and mineral enterprises continue to expand the demand, mixing equipment has further towards developmental direction of large-scale, efficient energy saving, transmission control intelligent.At these days, the field of mixing scientific research and engineering about mixing equipment is carried out mainly from 3 aspects: the flow field in the mixing process, the transmission and control of the stirring device, the erosion wear of the mixing process. In this paper, the problem of erosion wear of the impeller in the mixing process is analyzed and studied, and the following aspects are mainly discussed.Firstly, study in-depth the principle and enrich the theory of pulp stirring wear. In this paper, metal slurry stirring is selected as the example, because the qualitative and quantitative analysis in stirring erosion field is not enough supported. Through the literature, the mutual stirring shear force between the blade surface and in the process of pulp particles is one of the important factors of blade surface material wearing. Combining with micro cutting theory and deformation wear theory, the paper analyzes the surface shear effect of three different positions in the liquid and solid two-phase flow, and the wear condition of the blade.Secondly, intuitive understand the internal flow characteristics of pulp liquid-solid two-phase flow, establish the appropriate mathematical model of liquid-solid two-phase flow, mathematical simulate the solid-liquid two-phase flow mixture and analyse the erosion trend in stirred tank mixing performance and prediction of blade.Again, scientifically analyze the wear characteristics of liquid-solid two-phase flow under the slurry mixture concentration, the speed of the rotating shaft, impeller with different blade material three aspects in the Fluent software.Finally, finish the blade wear trend of liquid-solid two-phase flow experiment. Different from the slurry mixture concentration, the rotation of two different simulation results were verified with the numerical simulation, and provide the basis in the process of further research of mixing erosion, especially in the wear problem in whole range of the blade.
