Janus materials have been widely used in many ways for their unique composition, structure, and many attractive properties. A lot of research of their composition and structure has been has been carried out and different kinds of Janus architectures have been synthesized. The anisotropic soft Janus nanosheets can be folded and show much more abundant phase behavior. In this paper, the thermoresponsive polymeric Janus nanosheet was synthesized. The encapsulation and release of DOX was also studied. Specific work is as follows.Firstly, the azo group was introduced on the surface of silica nano particles which was used as a hard template (SNP-ACPA).And then mercaptoethanol was used as chain transfer agent, PNVCL-OH grafted silica nano particle was prepared by free radical polymerization (SNP-g-PNVCL-OH). SNPs-g-PNVCL-b-cPCL was prepared by ring opening polymerization and BCY was used as cross-linking agent at the same time. The Janus nanosheet was obtained by etched the silica core with HF solution and crushed by ultrasonic cell disruptor under the condition of low temperature. The dispersibility of Janus nanosheet in the water at different temperature was studied. The DLC, DLE and cumulative release of Janus nanosheet was determined by UV-VIS spectrophotometer. When the temperature was above the LCST of PNVCL, the PNVCL side of Janus changed from hydrophilic to hydrophobic. The self-assembly was broken, so the DOX released more easily. This Janus nanosheet has potential applications for the targeted tumor cells release.
