With the vigorous development of the electronic information industry, integrated electronic equipment and computer network control system are universal to all walks of life. The traditional high consumption industries are also trying to seek reform, towards the direction of the electronic intelligent control. Their intention is the introduction of efficient network control system, in order to achieve the goal of saving manpower, material resources and financial resources. This paper aims at the energy-saving reconstruction of Electromotor’s Frequency Conversion Control System in the iron and steel industry. The intelligent variable frequency control could achieve the goal of energy saving to a large extent without reducing dust removal effect.FPGA is a kind of programmable logic devices. A new generation of FPGA integrated central processing unit (CPU) or digital signal processor core could realize the high-speed signal processing in the process of field control with the advantage of powerful computing function, flexible logic design and fast running speed.This paper explains the architecture and working mechanism of Electromotor’s Frequency Conversion Control System in introduction section. Then based on the FPGA chip, the hardware circuit is designed, and the software program adapted to the data processing module of this system is written.The main content of this paper is as follows:At first, the FPGA chip series of Cyclone II is chosen as the basis of the data processing module. Then guided by the theories about FPGA logic circuit, the hardware circuit of data processing module is designed with reference to the design process in Altium Designer14. What’s more, the median filtering algorithm is applied in data processing module which is designed in FPGA, and the algorithm’s software program is written in the Quartus II platform. At last, after the simulation and experiment in Modelsim, the filtering effect of this module is verified, which could meet the requirement of the Electromotor’s Frequency Conversion Control System.
