Phosphor is one of the elements destroying the properties of steel product.Besides the low content of sulphur, it needs low phosphor for high quality steel. Since the ironmaking process is reduction atmosphere, the ability for dephosphorization is poor, thus dephosphorization during the steelmaking becomes the main step.Based on the thermodynamics analyzing of dephosphorization in BOF, discussed the effect of meting temperature, basicity of slag and(FeO) on phosphorus content,reason of dephosphorization, influencing factor and prevent measures and so on. It is indicated that the slag basicity, finish temperature,(FeO) should be controlled in a reasonable range, and the molten steel phosphorus reversion should be paid more attention. Then discussed the record of BOF from one of Steel Plant of Anshan Iron& Steel Group, and put forward the process of top and bottom blowing converter,and the industrial tests for dephosphorization were carried out. The results of tests were analyzed. The results show that under the condition of experiments, the dephosphorization rate increased from 89% to 92%, the dephosphorization rate was added, and the time was more reduced. The conditions for making low-phosphor steel great in Anshan Iron & Steel Group have been created.With high alkalinity, high temperature, high FeO content. After tapping the part or all of the slag in the furnace in a furnace blowing converter end slag can not only greatly reduce the consumption of iron and steel materials and solvents, but also help in the earlier stage of converter blowing slag forming speed and promote the dephosphorization, for the protection of the environment, saving resources and reduce costs has important significance. |
