Continunous casting crystallizer copper with high performance plays an important role in the increasing production of steel and improving the quality of continuous casting billet. In order to prolong the service life of crystallizer copper tube, reduce its abrasion, electroplating processing copper tube inner hole method is usually used to improve its strength and hardness. At present, most of the special tooling used for clamping crystallizer copper tube is generally using the manual alignment method to center crystallizer copper tube inner hole and the anode. It needs a worker with operation experience to use multiple wedge one by one and step by step. This manual alignment process is time-consuming, and it will be affected by various subjective factors and the influence of the technical level of the workers, which lead to lower positional accuracy and lower stability of positional accuracy in some batch of the workpiece. Thus, in order to ensure the quality of each batch of the stability of product quality and success rate, improving the production efficiency, reducing labor intensity and the technical level, a special purpose equipment of crystallizer copper tube for inner hole plating with automatically centering device is designed.Fist of all, according to the plating requirement, the overall design of the specialized equipment is introduced. It mainly includes automatic centering device, clamping device, the suspension loop, the pillar, chassis and other functional units.Secondly, the detailed strcture design of automatic centering of specialized equipment is carried out. This device can realize he anode and the crystalizer copper tube inner hole aumatic centering. Positioning scheme is using wedges as positioning components. Through inserting four wedges into the gap between crystallizer copper tube and the anode synchronously, the centering task is completed. For the operation requirements, 5 kinds of automatic centering deviece driving schems are put forward. Through the comparative analysis, an optimal solution is determined. Then, a detailed structure design, analysis and calculation and motion simulation are studied.Thirdly, the special clamping fixture parts and other parts of auxiliary functions are designed. After centering the crystallizer copper tube inner hole and ande, the clamping device is needed to locate the copper and the anode. The detail structure desing and calculation analysis of the clamping device, the beams, the suspension loop, the pillar and other parts are carried out. Using finite element analysis method, the strcture optimaization design of the main mechanical parts is conducted.Finally, using Pro/E software, the 3-dimensional modeling, assembly and motion simulaiton of the specialized equipment of crystallizer copper tube for inner hole plating are reaserched. It verified the rationality and feasibility of this specialized equipment design.
