Based on the thermolysis of 7-phosphanorbornadienes, we changed the R group to an alkynyl or an alkenyl instead of aryl to synthesize a series of 7-phosphanorbornadienes. We obtained the benzophospholes which have an active P-H bond. When the R group is alkenyl, the phosphinidenes would react as intramolecular cyclization reaction instead of addition reaction. While when the R group is alkynyl, the intramolecular reaction has not been reported before and the mechanism about them is still unknown. In addition, the solvent molecules involved in the reaction process remains to be further explored.
