AGC(auto gauge control) control of the Cold Rolling Line is most of the key points of keeping the line running with high quality.The paper is mainly search the control way of strip thickness base on the BaoGang Cold Rolling Line site requirement. Thickness of the line is instability due to the interfering conditions in thickness and speed changing,, and made the strip quality depressed., The line must run in a smooth control or quick response because of the speed changing,, so keep the running in stability is indispensable.In order to better solve the exit thickness fluctuation problem which exist in the running and in the exit thickness fluctuation problem of in the process of acceleration and deceleration,, it is need to optimize the control parameters and arithmetic of compensation, so we need analysis of various thickness control, it contain influence factors that exist compensate, the time delay control system、sensor and test the efficiency of the element and control the thickness to stable.Baotou steel cold rolling line in terms of thickness control system, it using five frame comprehensive control mode,1 stand using feed forward and feedback control、GM SMITH、 REC and BISRA control,2 to 5 Stand mainly through the Mass flow thickness control, but in view of the complexity of the control system of cold rolling line and incoming material and equipment installation accuracy and field problem such as environmental temperature and the ratio of emulsion, the effect of debugging in the same grade of steel during the test of model and parameters of rolling shall not apply to the situation, as the fifth stand feedback thickness display thickness fluctuation problem on site during acceleration and deceleration, it is finally eliminated the interference of this part through combined with process control system and rolling parameters on the theoretical formula is analyzed, formulas for computing compensation and control conditions, process optimization, it revised friction coefficient、 gain、speed setting. So on in the premise of guarantee the quality of control accuracy and process, we can reduce the exit thickness deviation and achieve stable thickness control through the housing program algorithm and optimize the control parameters.
