In the chain grate machine- rotary kiln production process of iron ore pellets,the rotary kiln of roasting temperature(furnace temperature) is an important technical indicators, it directly affects the quality of the finished pellets. Improve the control precision of the rotary kiln roasting temperature is helpful to improve the quality of pellet production. Because rotary kiln working at a certain rotating speed, the temperature detection is very difficult, so it’s difficult to obtain a stable temperature signal, and the rotary kiln roasting temperature is affected by many interference factors, big lag, non-linearity. The accuracy of traditional temperature control method is poor. At present, the domestic rotary kiln temperature control precision is generally low. The quality of the finished pellets will change as the change of working condition of them. Thus improved the control precision of the rotary kiln roasting temperature for stable quality of pellet production has important significance. To this end, this paper studies a kind of rotary kiln temperature soft measurement model and intelligent control method, its application in rotary kiln of roasting temperature control, in order to improve the roasting temperature control level of rotary kiln.On the basis of rotary kiln operation process and the thermal system, this paper analyses the important influence factors of rotary kiln roasting temperature, collected kiln historical production data. And then this paper built a kind of LS-SVM rotary kiln temperature soft measurement model. The model used important processed data as data input and used the immune evolutionary algorithm to optimize the LS-SVM model parameters. Can be seen from the simulation results, the soft measurement model for the rotary kiln temperature detection is feasible and the model accuracy is higher, can obtain accurate and stable rotary kiln roasting temperature signals. It has paved the way for the roasting temperature control.According to the characteristics of nonlinear, large temperature lag, this paper proposed a roasting temperature control method of rotary kiln based on Fuzzy- PID.Fuzzy-PID algorithm and the method of optimization of PID parameters are studied,and the Fuzzy-PID controller is designed. Experimental method of rotary kiln temperature model for the simulation test, simulation results show that the Fuzzy-PID algorithm of the adaptive ability is strong, the traditional control method, can achieve better control effect Finally this paper gives the realization method of Fuzzy-PID algorithm in PLC controller. It laid a good foundation for the industrial application.
