| ’YueGuan’apple is a new kind of late-maturing apple which is an artificial hybrid variety with’YueShuai’as male parent and’Hanfu’as female parent. It is crisp, juicy and has good quality. Currently, they have been cultivated only in Xiongyue in YingKou city. There is no the systematic research on the storage and fresh-keeping technology.’Hanfu’ apple is a new variety with cold resistance, which is generalized in recent years. Its cultivated area becomes more and more larger. The annual harvest time is relatively concentrated. But its technologies of storage and fresh-keeping need to be improve. Choices of 1-MCP concentration and fresh-keeping bags thickness are lack of supporting datas during the production of’YueGuan’ and’Hanfu’apple. It is necessary to explore the optimal treatment concentration and thickness of fresh-keeping bags for the two kind of apples. So farmers can use them accurately.’YueGuan’ and’Hanfu’ are used as test materials for the study. Effects of the treatment of different concentrations of 1-MCP under normal temperature(20±1)℃, different thicknesses of fresh-keeping bags packaging under low temperature(0±1)℃ and the treatment of different concentrations of 1-MCP combined with fresh-keeping bags packaging on the storage quality, physiology and activity of related enzyme are researched. Differences of related indexes under different conditions of storage are compared between’YueGuan’and’Hanfu’apple. The study aims at improving the technologies of storage and fresh-keeping, prolonging the storage period and providing theoretical guide for the development of apple industry. The main conclusions are as follows.(1)’YueGuan’and ’Hanfu’are stored under normal temperature(20±1)℃ with the treatment of different concentrations(including 0.5μL/L, 1.0μL/L,1.5μL/L) of 1-MCP. The optimal concentrations are respectively 1.0μL/L and 0.5μL/L. They can be safely stored for 75 d.The hardness, titratable acid, soluble solid, vitamin C and total phenol content decrease in the period of storage. The quality of ’YueGuan’ apple falls slower than’HanFu’.1-MCP delays respiratory peak and ethylene release peak and reduces their peak values.Compared with contrasts, all are delayed for 15d. Values are all below the contrast in the late period of storage. The respiration rate and ethylene releasing rate of’YueGuan’are significantly higher than those of’Hanfu’.1-MCP could inhibit the activity of PPO, PG and EC. Compared to the contrast, all reach significant level and delays the activity peaks for 15 days. Softening and aging process are delayed.1-MCP treatments of 1.0μL/L and 0.5μL/L could maintain high activity of CATã€POD and SOD for the two kind of apples. Compared with their contrast, those activity peaks are delayed for 15 days, reaching significant level. Senescence is delayed. The anti-aging ability of’YueGuan’ is weak. So the storability of ’YueGuan’ apple is not better than’HanFu’.(2)’YueGuan’ and ’Hanfu’ are packaged by different thicknesses of fresh-keeping bags (0.015mm,0.025mm, and 0.035mm) and are stored under low temperature (0±1℃). The optimal thicknesses are respectively 0.025mm and 0.015mm. Apples can be safely stored for 120d.The hardness, titratable acid, soluble solid, vitamin C and total phenol content decrease in the period of storage.’YueGuan’apple performed better than ’HanFu’ apple. The treatment of fresh-keeping bags reduces the peak values of respiratory peak and ethylene release peak. The treatment of fresh-keeping bags could inhibit the activity of PPO, PG and EC of’YueGuan’ and ’Hanfu’ apple. Compared with contrasts, all reached significant level. The treatment of fresh-keeping bags could maintain high activity of CAT, POD and SOD for the two kind of apples. Senescence of fruit is delayed.’YueGuan’ apple performed better than’HanFu’.(3) Different concentrations(0.5μL/L, 1.0μL/L,1.5μL/L) of 1-MCP combined with fresh-keeping package (’YueGuan’:0.025mm.’Hanfu’:0.015mm) are used to treat apples. Then apples are stored under low temperature (0±1℃). The optimal combinations are 1.0μL/L 1-MCP+0.025mm and 0.5μL/L 1-MCP+0.015mm. Apples can be safely stored for 120d.The hardness, titratable acid, soluble solid, vitamin C and total phenol content decreased in the period of storage. The quality of’YueGuan’apple declines slower.1-MCP delays respiratory peak and ethylene release peak and reduces their peak values. The two values appear at 75d and 90d. Compared with contrasts, all are delayed for 15d. The respiration rate and ethylene releasing rate of’YueGuan’ are higher than those of’Hanfu’. 1-MCP could inhibit the activity of PPO, PG and EC. Compared with the contrast, the activity peaks of PPO and PG of’YueGuan’ apple are delayed for 15 days. Softening is delayed.1-MCP treatment could maintain high activity of CAT, POD and SOD for the two kind of apples. Compared with their contrast, the SOD activity peak of’YueGuan’ is delayed for 30 days and others for 15 days, but all the activity peaks of’Hanfu’are delayed for 15 days. Senescence is delayed. If stored for short-term, the quality of’YueGuan’ apple is kept better than’HanFu’ apple. For long-term storage, the storability of’YueGuan’ apple is not better than’HanFu’. The senescence of’YueGuan’ apple is faster than’HanFu’. Even though they have genetic relationship, performance of their indexes is different during storage. So their storage technologies are not the same. |
