Wear of ceramic tool in high-speed machining difficult-to-machine materials such as hardened steel restricts development of manufacturing. High capability micro-textured surface has grinding with good performance, this will greatly improve the ceramic cutting tools.Therefore, this paper aims at the influence of laser parameters on the micro-textured surface preparation of ceramic tool and the influence of different parameters of surface micro-textured on the cutting capability of ceramic tool these two core issues to carry out research, details are as follows:(1) Summary and outlines the specific content of the micro-texture design, designed and fabricated micro-textured with different morphologies based on the theoretical analysis. Analyze the effect of different parameters laser of the microtexture.(2) Using ABAQUS build tribological model of texture ceramic tool and ceramic tool. Simulate dynamic contact stress in friction and wear processes. Compare status of stress distribution on tool with different size of microtexture.(3)Study on influence of tool’s wear properties with different parameters (shape, depth, spacing and width) of microtexture. Study on the effect of micro-texture effects with different friction and wear testing conditions.(4) Observation and analyze the wear condition and wear Mechanism of the ceramic tool surface with different morphologies texture.
