The Big Bang-Big Crunch (BB-BC) was. developed in 2006 by Turkey Osman K. Erol and Ibrahim Eksin. The idea of algorithm is derived from the theory of the Big Bang and Contraction theory of the universe, which is widely accepted in physics. It is simple and easily to implement. It has better optimization ability as well, which can quickly find the optimal solution to the problem or sub optimal solution. In this paper, BB-BC is studied in detail, and the design and implementation of the traditional BB-BC is analyzed. Based on an analysis of the present situation and existing problems, the author puts forward his ideas on improved algorithms. The ideas including the BB-BC based on logistic chaotic map(LBB-BC), the BB-BC based on local Gauss mutation operator(NBB-BC), the BB-BC based on Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO-BB-BC), the BB-BC based on differential evolution strategy(DE-BB-BC) and the BB-BC based on a combination of the Particle Swarm Optimization and the differential evolution strategy(DE-PSO-BB-BC) was proposed. From simulation and comparison, it is evident that all the improved algorithms superior to the traditional BB-BC algorithm in both accuracy and speed.Addressing the air quality pollutants at present, the BB-BC algorithm and its improved algorithm are applied to the research and analysis of the current situation of air quality pollutants. Objective function of Atmospheric quality assessment model is designed. The parameters of the objective function is optimized by Using the above 5 improved algorithm. The accuracy and efficiency of algorithms optimization are Evaluation and analyzed. The Parameter optimal solution of atmospheric quality assessment model is obtained. After analyzing the optimization results of traditional BB-BC and improved algorithms, an optimal algorithm for parameter optimization is Selected, to obtain the optimal solution, Applied to the construction of a comprehensive assessment model of atmospheric pollution for a variety of atmospheric pollutants, And according to the national standard "GB3096-2012", the relationship between the evaluation model and the atmospheric quality assessment level K is determined. At last, atmospheric quality comprehensive pollution assessment model is apply to the air quality pollution assessment data of Guangzhou in December 2015, January 2016 and February 2016. Evaluation results were compared with the evaluation results of method AQI. The results show that this method can completely replace the AQI method, which has a more reasonable and scientific evaluation results.
