Nitrogen doped carbon is a new type of carbon material, its structure is not only easy to control, but also has high utilization rate of large specific surface area, at the same time also has the characteristics of the resistance to acid and alkali resistant to high temperature. At the same time, the adjustment of various carbon structure can make it good dispersion in different solvents. Therefore, compared with the traditional carbon materials such as activated carbon or carbon nanotubes, nitrogen doped carbon was as a highly anticipated new and efficient catalyst carrier. In this thesis, nitrogen mixed activated carbon and mesoporous nitrogen doped carbon materials load precious metals Pd was prepared, and the application of catalytic hydrogenation reaction are discussed:1. We discussed several different preparation methods of microporous and mesoporous carbon materials and its application. By cyanide diamine as nitrogen source, for hydrogen peroxide treated activated carbon doping, then load the metals palladium made a series of different structural load type catalyst Pd/NAC, used in hydrogenation of benzoic acid in aqueous phase. In order to analyze the structure properties of NAC, XRD, FTIR, Raman, XPS, SEM, TEM and other characterization methods have been used, We found that different heat treatment temperature will affect the nitrogen content of materials and the distribution of the nitrogen species, thus affecting the formation and distribution of Pd nanoparticles on the surface of the carrier, and the catalytic activity of the catalysts play an important influence.2.We discussed several different preparation methods of microporous and mesoporous carbon materials and its application. With ethylenediamine as nitrogen source, extraction of carbon tetrachloride, carbon source, template agent under the condition of the preparation of the mesoporous carbon nitrogen impurity material MCN then load the metal palladium from the load type catalyst Pd/MCN, used in catalytic aqueous phase hydrogenation of benzoic acid. We found that the catalytic performance is superior to the ordinary AC active carbon and nitrogen of mixed activated carbon NAC, this is due to the high nitrogen content of MCN has the large pore size and surface is rich in alkaline, and the interaction between Pd and N enhanced the Pd/MCN activity of catalytic hydrogenation of aromatic rings in the water.3.We discussed several different preparation of mesoporous carbon source various preparation methods and application of carbon materials. This paper respectively with carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, tetrachloroethane as carbon source, ethylenediamine as nitrogen source, under the condition of template agent preparation of mesoporous carbon nitrogen miscellaneous materials CN-CT、CN-CF and CN-TE. Then load the metal palladium from the load type catalyst Pd/MCN, used in catalytic aqueous phase hydrogenation of vanillin. In order to analyze the structure properties of MCN, XRD, FTIR, Raman, XPS, SEM, TEM and other characterization methods have been used, We found that the Pd/CN-CF have best catalytic properties, that is illustrated by the results of these CN-CF with large pore diameter and surface is rich in alkaline, CN-CF mesoporous volume ratio reached 90.9%, the mass transfer process and exposed activity provides plenty of space.CN-CF surface rich pyridine nitrogen fixed metal ion provides a natural platform, and the interaction between Pd and N enhanced the Pd/CN-CF activity of catalytic hydrogenation of aromatic rings in the water.
