Since frequent haze in China with its adverse impacts on public health, visibility and typical indystries, the anxious demand of monitoring and forecasting technology of environmental meteorology, and NUIST’s top position of education and research on atmospheric and enevironemntal sciences in China, it is urgently to develop an air quality model forecasting system of Nanjing University of Information Science& Technology (NUIST), which provides environmentcal meteorological forecasting and early-warnig technology service for our meteorology, environment, and power, airline and transportation business.The main work of this thesis is to build the NUIST air quality forecasting system and operational platform with computer automated information technology. The key technologies contain (1) pre-processing of meteology(NCEP-GFS) and atmospheric pollutants data(MOZART); (2) 72-hour operation of meteorology-chemistry coupling numerical model; (3) post-processing of forecasting products that is building an air-quality forecasting system website of NUIST, which realized the 72-hours forecasting(PM10, PM2.5, O3, CO, NO2, SO2, AQI and visibility) of Jiangsu province and is applied for haze forecasting and early-warning service of Jiangsu environmental bureau. And realized the automatic operation of NUIST air-quality forocasting system with shell script and presented visual early-warning information and forecasting products to users.In view of the low resolution ratio of emission inventory which cannot accurately simulate the changes of air pollutants in Nanjing and Jiangsu area, this thesis first introduced the refining scheme of pollutants emission which redistributed the emission on time and space with the data of population distribution and observed data of atmospheric pollutants, respectively. Then we optimized the schemes of atmospheric boundary layer, cloud and precipitation and reaction mechanisms of atmospheric chemistry on the basis of parameterization schemes of physiochemical process in the mesoscale atmospheric chemistry model of WRF-Chem to develop the air-quality forecasting model of Jiangsu province. At last, the article presented the integrated technology process of air quality forecasting platform.For assessing the conditions of air quality and the control effect of pollution source, this paper preliminary analyzed forecasting products of NUIST air-quality model system before, during and after the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. Through Comparing the observed and simulated pollutants concentrations (PMio, PM2.5, O3, CO, NO2, SO2) of forecasting products, it seems that the model always presented higher simulated values during the Games(August 16-25,2014), especially for PM10, PM2.5 whose emission source are site emissions and construction fugitive dust. The simulated values are similar to the observed values before and after the Games, which means the measurements of emission reduction were effective.
