The natural gas is a kind of clean, high efficient and convenient energy. Its volume is reduced by 630 times after being liquefied. The heat value of the unit volume of liquefied natural gas not only increases greatly, but also is convenient for transportation and storage. In our country, the natural gas liquefaction technology is developing rapidly. Under this background, this paper analyzes and studies the technological process of natural gas liquefaction in detail. In this paper, the history and present situation of the research and application of natural gas liquefaction technology at home and abroad are introduced in detail. On the basis of this, the natural gas pretreatment method and the natural gas liquefaction technology are emphatically discussed. In natural gas pre-processing, Natural gas removal of acid, dehydration, removal of mercury and other typical process are discussed in detail; the commonly used method are analyzed and compared. In natural gas liquefaction, various kinds of modern natural gas liquefaction processes are discussed in detail and an in-depth analysis of the characteristics of each process is carried out, the selection and design principles of different qualities and different production purposes are presented.According to the characteristics of natural gas in well of Daqing oil field, the schemes of the natural gas pretreatment and the solution of dual cycle mixed refrigerant are confirmed by the comparative analysis. The liquefied natural gas flow is the most widely used process in the world. In the design of the project, the more advanced technology is referenced, and it has certain reference function for the development of LNG industry in Daqing oil field in the future.
