In the tertiary oil recovery technologies, chemical flooding and profile control water plugging have become the most widely used technology of improving oil production,the gel flooding technology that combined polymer flooding and profile control water plugging mechanism has also been widely recognized and applied. This method combined the mechanism of polymer flooding and profile control, which can enhance the displacement efficiency, make the flow swerve, increase the flooding area, and reduce the invalid water cycle at the same time, this system has been applied and achieved good results in many high water-cut stage oilfields of our country. So it has a great importance to study the weak gel flooding technology and its application in the carbonate reservoir in foreign countries.Chudel block structure of Jayne Fruit park oilfield is located at the shaft of Jayne Fruit park long tableland structure, it is a typical carbonate reservoir, and reservoir fracture doesn’t develop, the reservoir temperature is 30℃, the salinity is 249.06 g/L, the reservoir belongs to the typical type of low temperature and high salinity reservoir. After decades of water-flooding, long-term water flooding made the high permeability reservoir form large pore paths and bibulous advantage and formed a more severe vertical and plane heterogeneity, so the injected water mainly flew along the high permeability layer, which reduced the water flooding efficiency and the recovery and the low permeability reservoir couldn’t get a good development. So how to improve the overall recovery efficiency and make water flooding effect better have become urgent problems to be solved.The block studied in this paper is Jayne Fruit park oilfield-Chudel block, it is a typical carbonate reservoir, the reservoir temperature is 30℃ and the salinity is 249.06g/L. Through the indoor physical simulation experiment, we selected out the chemical reagents and proportion by weight of the weak gel system under the high salinity ratio condition and determine the displacement weak gel system used in the block formula. We used natural carbonate core to do some physical simulation experiments to evaluate liquidity and oil displacement effect of weak gel system. We also evaluated the influence of the displacement rounds, injection rate and injection timing switch on the flooding effect. The experimental results show that the optimal formula for the polymer concentration polymer gel system is 2000 mg/L, polymer and crosslinking agent is eight-to-one and the concentration of stabilizer is 80 mg/L; the best displacement solution is 0.2PV injection, the displacement rounds is 3 rounds and the displacement time the sooner the better.
