The type of reservoir of P15 pilot area belongs to medium porosity and medium permeability, the average porosity is 23.7%, and average effective permeability is 298×10-3μm2. At present, there are some problems in the process of oilfield development, such as disseminated remaining oil and prominent contradiction of injection/production problems. Gel deep profile control and flooding technology is applied in the P15 pilot area in order to solve these problems. Deep profile control and flooding technology is an effective technology to improve recovery in the late stage of development, and as an agent for deep profile control and flooding, gel has the properties of gradually gelling and certain cross-linking strength. Gel could play the role of chemical flooding by temporarily plugging high permeable layer. In order to effectively conduct gel deep profile control and flooding, we proposed the research on the tracking simulation of gel deep profile control and flooding in the P15 pilot area by using numerical simulation method, aimed at to verify the effect of gel deep profile control and flooding and to guild the measure adjustment of deep profile control and flooding.In this article, we used Petrel software to establish geological model of P15 pilot area, and we selected simulation blocks to fit the water flooding history matching on the basis of geological model. Then we described remaining oil distribution features and determined the remaining oil types, including the top of thick oil layer, thin layers, the imperfect injectionproduction and well pattern can not be controlled. In view of the distribution of remaining oil after water flooding, based on the support of gel deep profile control and flooding model, using CMG numerical simulation software to conduct the research on gel deep profile control and flooding tracking simulation. Compared and analyzed the changes of displacement parameters before and after tracking, such as output, water cut, recovery and remaining oil distribution, and determined potential layers of remaining oil enrichment; Then in view of the effect of three fracturing wells, we proposed two potential suggestions, including production well fracturing and increasing gel injection. Finally, we designed different adjustment schemes of gel deep profile and control flooding according to potential suggestions, optimizing the gel injection volume to guild the adjustment of injection and production parameters. This article research results could provide technical method and measure for further improving oil recovery in P15 pilot area.
