Abstract/Summary:
Contamination of Heavy Metal is one of the major environmental problems facing the world today, seriously affecting people’s production and life activities. Clay mineral because it has a non-toxic, cheap and so are increasingly being applied to the environment of heavy metals into the governance and repair. For a variety of heavy metals contamination of sewage and sediment problems in the current, this paper attapulgite clay as the material, the use of zirconium modification method, zirconium modified research on water and sediment arsenic, lead and cadmium pollution control.The study found that when attapulgite and zirconium oxychloride mass ratio of 1:2 modified prepared zirconium (Zr-ATP) to As3+、As5+、Pb2+、Cd2+ have good adsorption properties, mainly As the nano-zirconium ions have been successfully loaded onto attapulgite nano-pores, enhances the status quo attapulgite (ATP) activity, and thereby increasing its adsorption capacity for heavy metals. Batch experiments showed, Zr-ATP to As3+、As5+、Pb2+ Cd2+ adsorption isotherms fit the Freundlich adsorption isotherm model, adsorption kinetics experiments show, Zr-ATP to As3+、As5+、Pb2+、Cd2+ kinetic adsorption pseudo-second power Learn equation, the correlation coefficient reached 0.999 or more, when the adsorbent dosage 8g/L, Zr-ATP to As3+、As5+、Pb2+、Cd2+ adsorption optimal. Biological Evaluation Method (SBET) show, leaching of lead and cadmium were reduced by 63.60% and 51.48%, these results suggest that the curing agent not only changed the form of heavy metals in sediment percentage of lead, cadmium, and lower bottom Bioavailability of heavy metals in the mud.
