In 2001, Tang and co-workers found a perverse phenomenon that silacyclopentadiene(silole) was non-luminescent in the solution, but light emited greatly enhanced in the aggregate state, Which was named AIE. In the last decade, with the efforts of scientists around the world, AIE material system has experienced a huge development. Due to their advantages of high fluorescence efficiency in the solid state make they have a wide range of applications. Such as: organic light-emitting diode(OLED), organic field-effect transistor(OFET), circularly polarized luminescence(CPL), fluorescent biological probes, chemical sensors, piezochromic luminescece, thermochromic and so on. In this paper, we choose AIE as the research subject, a series of functional materials with AIE characteristic were synthesized. The properties of organoelectronics were studied and their applilcations in the field of stimulating to responding were explored. The details are outlined as follows:(1) Based on tetraphenylethyle, carborane, the benzene ring structure building unit, two small molecules with highly AIE fluorescent were synthesized and a series of characterization including structure, thermal stability, photovoltaics was conducted. Results indicate that they have good thermal stability, excellent optical and electrical properties. In the thin film state, they have high fluorescence quantum efficiency. Meanwhile wherein O1 has a reversible piezochromic luminescece, which is very rare in the AIEgen Systems, making it has some potential applications in the field of stimulating to responding.(2) Based on binaphthol, carborane, benzene, carbazole building block, two kinds of fluorescent molecules were successfully synthesized having a significant AIE luminescece. Research shows that they are non-luminescent in the tetrahydrofuran solution, but emit bright fluorescence in the aggregate state. Meanwhile, in the different solvents, they may be two kinds of light-emitting rule appears. One is attributed to the intramolecular charge transfer light emitting(ICT), the other is ascribed to the aggregation induced emission(AIE). We speculate that AIE behavior was mainly due to intramolecular motion and solvent polarity effects.(3) Based on chiral boron complexes dione and fluorene derivatives, a novel chiral conjugated polymer material was synthesized by the Suzuki coupling reaction. We mainly present their thermal stability properties, optical properties, and other aspects of theoretical calculation. We can make the conclusion that it is an ideal photovoltaic materials.because of its good thermal stability, excellent photoelectric performance. It has strong fluorescence in the solution and thin film state, which may beneficial to potential applications in terms of the organic light emitting diodes.
