Study And Application Of New Process And New Equipment In Distiller’s Solubles Processing For Cassava Ethanol

Distiller’s solubles processing is one of the key procedures of cassava ethanol. The production cost is high, and the price is low as a feed additive when the conventional separation and drying processing are selected, and then bring to the manufactures significant losses.We take a new exploration and research on distiller’s solubles processing for cassava ethanol and its new uses, and the results are successfully applied. Based on the original processing technology of the Tian Guan group, the processing of separation, drying, product transportation and clear liquid treatment was improved, and obvious effects have been achieved. Feeding has become more stable and the production site has become cleaner when a complete set of horizontal spiral discharge settling centrifuge and without-shaft ground dragon used to replace the frame filter press and belt conveyor as separation and transportation equipment. Mix the anaerobic biogas slurry temperature, liquid filtration and distillation residual liquid water and take them as mixing materials, they have no adverse effect on alcoholic fermentation and can eliminate water pollution hazards. Still we can save costs of 57.9 yuan every ton of alcohol. Replace the product transport style of mechanical transmission to the negative pressure pneumatic conveyor, we eliminate safety hidden trouble.We can reduce a steam costs of 0.648 tons with taking secondary steam in use of liquefaction and distillation processes,, and save steam energy costs of 7.128 million yuan in every ton of anhydrous ethanol. Using Distillers Dried cassava with Solubles as a biomass fuel for the first time, and using the direct spray burning technology, we can meet the process requirements. And its environmental mitigation effect is obvious. Using an automatic fuel feeding system and new multi-function equipment of hot air stove system, the system runs more stable and reliable. It can use biogas fuel or Distillers dried cassava with Solubles as fuel, the technology has a certain originality. Companies can adjust the fuel according to the price of energy, so as to achieve the best economic benefits.This paper described a new production technology for large-scale system of distiller’s solubles processing for cassava ethanol. It has the flexible adjustable advantages on the industrial application, especially on the environmental effect. The new processing achieves the clean production and environmental protection to reduce emissions. And it has a certain popularization value and application prospect in cassava ethanol industry.
