In this paper, by using three different kinds of Fe0(Tj-Feo,Alfa-Fe0,Bj-Fe0) to remove Cr(VI) in the wastewater, respectively, investigated the effects of different conditions on the removal of Cr(VI),including:initial concentration, dosage of Fe0, pH, electrolyte and magnetic field, dissolved oxygen and so on, studying its kinetic mechanisms. To enlarge the range of using of Fe0, synthesizing FeSx/Fe0 to remove Cr(VI), comparing the removal effects before and after modification and analyzing the mechanisms of reaction. Through different kinds of characterization methods to auxiliary analysis results, such as specific surface area test (BET), scanning electron microscope & energy dispersive spectrometer (SEM-EDS), X-ray photoelectron spectrometer (XPS), to help analyzing. The results showed that:Removal of Cr(VI) by Tj-Fe0 showed that:as the increase of dosage of Fe0, Cr(VI) removal efficiency increased; Adding electrolyte into reaction solution can improve the removal efficiency of Cr(VI) greatly.Removal of Cr(VI) by Alfa-Fe0 showed that:the removal efficiency of Cr(VI) increased as the increasing of dosage of Fe0 and gradually tend to balance; rotate speed had effects on Fe0 removing Cr(VI), and the optimum speed was 120 r/min; removal efficiency of Cr(VI) decreased as the initial concentration increased; Adding electrolytes could increase the removal efficiency of Cr(VI) greatly; The magnetic field for reaction had certain inhibition; the decrease of pH could improve the removal efficiency of Cr(VI).Removal of Cr(VI) by Bj-Fe0 showed that:under pH with acetic acid sodium acetate buffer solution condition of 5, removal efficiency of Cr(VI) reduced with the increasing of initial concentration; Fe0 of aging treatment can enhance the removal efficiency; With the increase of pH, the removal efficiency of Cr(VI) decreased by Fe0; Adding the electrolyte well improved the removal efficiency of Cr(VI).Using the FeSx/Fe0 which was synthesisd of Fe0 could increase the remval efficiency of Cr(Ⅵ); as the increase of dosage of FeSx/Fe0, the removal efficiency of Cr(VI) increased; when the initial concentration of Cr(VI) increased, the Cr(VI) removal declined; while the removal efficiency decreased as the increasing of pH.The reaction of Fe0 removing Cr(VI) was corresponding to pseudo first order kinetic model in this paper.
