Ordinary polymer drive has not been met the requirements of tertiary oil recovery. Any other new methods, such as ternary compound oil drive and microbial drive,are limited by certain conditions or have certain disadvantages. Looking for the displacement agent instead of the ordinary polymer for driving has become a new topic of oilfield development. This paper evaluate all kinds of static, dynamic performance and effect of the three new functional polymers, and provide basic data for the actual injection.Synthesizing the advantages and disadvantages of polymers and ternary compound system,using the molecular interaction between molecules, with flexible polyacrylamide hydrocarbon chain as skeleton. According to non-bonding functional rule of the functional groups in the intramolecular and intermolecular, the functional groups with special design and optimization is applied, graft copolymerization on the hydrocarbon chain and form multicomponent. Without the need of alkali condition, it combines the advantages of polymer and surfactant with increasing viscosity, reducing the mobility ratio and expanding sweep efficiency and improving solubilization ability and the emulsifying ability. It is a new type of single component chemical displacement agent with a variety of functional groups.Experimental results show that the combination of functional polymer slug can give full play to the characteristics of the different functions together, not only can extract residual oil after water flooding or as a option for a second polymer flooding, even obtain the effect of the profile by inversion, achieve maximum potential in thin and poor reservoirs. Emulsion ability of the functional polymer is stronger, especially the type 108,with good emulsification of crude oil, can be better than the overall the emulsification effect of ternary compound system.And the viscosity of emulsion was increased slightly before decreased. Functional polymer at lower concentrations can improve recovery factor, with the larger water resisting ability in the subsequent time and the increased recovery efficiency. The characteristics of this new kind of polymer is of great significance in the field of tertiary oil recovery is studied.
