Alkali/surfactant/polymer system is a TOR approach which can raise both of conformance efficiency and swept volume. A large number of laboratory experiment and field experiment found that the ASP system have favourable displacement characteristics because it can enhanced oil recovery by 20% and enter the stage of industrialization promotion. But at present the mechanism of ASP system have lags behind to some extent, and the lagging has restricted the further development of asp flooding. Therefore it is necessary to further study of mechanism of ASP flooding to provide theoretical support for the development of oil displacement agent, the preparation of the displacement solution and the adjustment of field experiment. The different type and concentration of alkali and surfactant of the ASP system are configured in this paper. The interfacial tension of the ASP system is measured by the TX500 C full range rotation interfacial tensiometer. To study the factors which effect the interfacial tension of ASP system, The impact on the interfacial viscosity are researched by the droplets(bubble) expansion method. The ultra-low interfacial tension’s effect of residual oil in the simplify hole, channel wettability’s impact on the start and migration of the residual oil and interfacial viscosity ’s impact on residual oil emulsion are researched by the microscopic oil displacement experiments. The results show that the character of the ASP system is effected by the both type and viscosity of alkali and surfactant, the different wettability of channel and start migrate type of residual oil; The amount of residual oil recovery of ASP system are increased with the reduce of the interfacial tension; Under the same condition of magnitude of interfacial tension of the ASP system, The lower of the viscoelastic interface expansion, the stronger emulsification and better displacement effect.
