In recent years, with the application and popularization of horizontal well in sulige area. The friction force is a bottleneck to prevent the development of this type of wells. In order to resolve the problem of torque and drag in the progress of horizontal section extension, a lot of technology research have been carried out in china and other countries, and formed a series of research results.According to the on-site statistics and on the basis of the friction model, this paper analyzes the influence factors of torque and drag. Well path design, drilling parameters, BHA and drilling fluid have been optimized, the torque and drag reducing tool have been designed. Through these anti-friction methods used on S53-78-XX well site, compare with other well in this area, its effects is remarkable, the ROP improved largely, the period of drilling reduce by 15~20%. The technology research and related tool provides a powerful support for improve the extension capacity of horizontal section and solving the problem of depressurization.
