Niuxintuo Oilfield is located in the northern part of the western slope in the western depression of Liaohe rifted basin, it began to be developed in 1988. As for the fact that the main portion consist of many oil beating series, and there are contradictions within a layer, it is developed of two sets of strata. This paper mainly presents the comprehensive adjustment scheme of upper strata. With the development of upper strata, the production contradiction becomes prominent. To improve the production, we must analyze the development characteristics of this area, make a rational development plan, control reducing capacity of the oilfield, and improve the economic efficiency. Therefore, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to have an intensive research on the development plan.This paper begins at the geologic characteristic of upper strata of Niuxintuo Layer in Niuxintuo Oilfield, taking geological sedimentology theory as a guide, fine divides the upper strata base-level cycle, completes small layer microstructure. Using well-log and seismic data and the cognizant results of geologic characteristic, I established 3D geological model and reservoir numerical simulation model of the researched area. In the end, I completed the fitting of geological reserves and production history, laying a good foundation for remaining oil distribution law plan adjustment. Study shows that this oilfield remaining oil distribution impacting factors mainly includes four types: sedimentary facie phase factor, structural factor, reservoir heterogeneity factor and injection-production pattern factor. At the same time, the paper has analyzed the exploration potential of each region respectively in the plane and in vertical, has also pointed out the key exploration object. As for the design of comprehensive adjustment scheme, this paper uses numerical simulation method combing the present situation of exploitation and technology to optimize parameters, respectively on adjustment of well pattern, well spacing, parameters of injection optimization, reperforating well layer optimization, fracture parameter optimization. And in this way it implements efficient rational exploration of the researched area. By simulating and forecasting the comprehensive scheme through the reservoir simulation software, we get a result showing that the comprehensive adjustment scheme predicts the cumulative oil production of 20 years will increase by 70.28×104t, recovery efficiency will increase by 9.45%, and the key exploration area reserves employ condition will be improved obviously.Through the study of upper Strata of Niuxintuo Layer in Niuxintuo Oilfield development program, I further recognized the geology and development characteristics of this area. I established a high precision geologic model, gave out relevant parameters of program adjustment, found the direction of remaining oil potential seeking. Above all, this paper has a theoretical guiding significance for further exploration of researched area and fault-block low permeability reservoir.
