The high and steep slope could be formed in the process of continuous mining in the open pit mine, and the high and steep slope could lose stability under blasting load, threatening life safety and property of the mine workers and surrounding residents, thus it is not conducive to the sustainable exploitation of mines, reducing the economic benefits of the mine. Therefore, it is very necessary and urgent to study the dynamic response and dynamic stability of high and steep slope under blasting load, and putting forward the control measures of blasting vibration damage. This paper carries out research based on the engineering examples of high and steep slope of phosphate rock -- Yunnan Jianshan phosphate, it mainly includes the static stability of high and steep slope, slope blasting vibration response, slope dynamic stability and blasting vibration damping measures and other aspects. The specific content of the study:(1) The physical mechanical parameters of rock slope are got through field test based on Jianshan phosphate rock slope engineering geological survey data; (2) The static stability of Jianshan phosphorus ore in different slope and weak interlayer is studied by using the classical limit equilibrium method and finite element strength reduction method; (3) Dynamic response of different elevation points in 45 degree slope is studied in the blasting dynamic load; (4) The response characteristics of the vibration in the slope toe is researched in different distance from the explosion source; (5) The response characteristics of vibration on the slope of 45 degrees,55 degrees are studied 65 under the same condition of blasting; (6) The response characteristics of the slope are studied at different microsecond delay; (7) The comparative analysis of the response characteristics of the slope are studied in the slope with the weak interlayer and without the weak dissection; (8) The comparative analysis of the influence of microsecond delay blasting in concentrated charge and dispersive charge on the dynamic response is studied under the condition of the certain total charge; (9) The damping effect of different damping measures is researched, and more reasonable damping measures are put forward considering various factors according to the specific project of Jianshan phosphate. The research results show that:(1) elevation amplification effect in dynamic response of the slope is not obvious using the 45 degree slope, and response speed, displacement and stress decrease rapidly in the lower part of the slope, but the attenuation is slow at the top; (2) the larger the distance is, the smaller the slope of the vibration velocity, displacement, stress are, but it is not the linear reduction with the increase of the blasting distance, the distance of the damping effect to a greater impact; (3) The steeper the slope is, the greater the response velocity of blasting vibration, displacement and stress are under the same blasting conditions, but it has little influence on the damping effect of the blasting vibration; (4) The damping effect of microsecond delay blasting in dispersive charge has big difference between that in concentrate charge comparatively total quantity and some other blasting under the certain total charge and the same other blasting condition. (5) Damping seam shows the significant damping effect.
